A recent study by that India's annual waste generation is likely to be  387.8 million tonnes in 2030 and 543.3 million tonnes by 2050. 

 

To put this into perspective, this is equivalent to burying approximately 90,000 football fields 6 feet deep in trash. 

 

The climate crisis is real and affects each one of us personally. Additionally, it is not only an environmental but also an economic, social and humanitarian crisis. We've all created the problem, and we all have the ability the contribute to the solution.

It shouldn't be someone else's job to clean up our trash. It's time we take responsibility for our actions.

 

Learning how to manage the waste we create, adopting lifestyle habits that in the long run enable us to make little to no waste - is the crux of our workshop series.
